Quality Inspector

Helps to execute diverse complex tasks based on individual understanding and technical knowledge to address abnormalities within operational manufacturing processes. Assists in remedying complex malfunctions, helps to execute product quality inspection activities within the project scope. Works with limited supervision, escalating issues to superiors as needed and develops a substantial understanding of relevant regulations, requirements, and standards. Aids to implement quality control procedures and protocols, ensuring adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Helps in the documentation of regulatory requirements for good manufacturing controls for medical devices as outlined in quality control plans, assisting in implementing the laboratory chemical hygiene program. Provides support towards the execution of validation protocols and testing methods for new products and processes to ensure they meet quality standards. Engages in continuous learning and on-the-job training to enhance skills and knowledge, and ensures quality of own work by conducting checks and taking responsibility for the accuracy of work. Adheres to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others. Escalates issues to superiors and participates in planning and priority settings within their area of responsibility. Requirements Minimum required Education: High School Diploma, Vocational Education or equivalent. Key Qualifications Focused on executing 3 key inspection processes: Receiving inspection In-process inspection Final inspection Performs SAP transactions and supports quality documentation Uses inspection equipment (e.g., SmartScope) Must have Quality inspection background Experience working through multiple inspection stages Experience in Video Measurement System (Smartscope and Sprint MVP) Nice-to-have Digital Literacy Quality Specifications Quality Control Inspection Quality Management Systems (QMS) Troubleshooting Regulatory Requirements Technical Documentation Manufacturing Processes Process Improvements Quality Management Procedures and Methodologies Technical Acumen Root Cause Analysis (RCA) How We Work Together We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. For this project, you’ll be contracted via a Randstad company as a temporary worker/contractor and placed at our Client. The hourly pay range for this role is $22.00-24.00.
