A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available in Rolla, MO, for a licensed Pharmacist to support a 250-bed facility using EPIC and Omnicell systems. This travel position offers a unique schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off, working from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. The assignment begins immediately and lasts for 13 weeks, with the possibility of converting to a permanent role.
Responsibilities include:
- Order verification and ensuring accuracy of medication dispensing
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles for patient-specific medication management
- Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
- Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Ideal candidates will have:
- A valid Missouri Pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency with hospital IT systems such as EPIC and Omnicell preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and provide leadership in the pharmacy setting
