Latham Centers, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic Human Resources team! This vital role supports all areas of HR, with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration. You'll help attract and engage exceptional candidates, ensuring a positive and professional experience from first contact through their Latham journey. As the backup for benefits administration, you'll partner closely with the Benefits and Leave Manager to assist employees with their benefit needs, while also contributing to HR reporting, process improvements, and departmental initiatives. Pay Range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4p

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• HR recruiting/generalist experience preferred.
• One or more years of experience in an administrative or office support position, preferably within a professional environment (preferred).
• Valid driver's license
• Requires a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality in documentation and daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Headhunting candidates from online resume databases, resources.
• Coordinate and participate in job fairs.
• Receive and accurately maintain job requisitions via the Paycor system.
• After the new job requisition is approved by the program director, accurately create and post a new job posting on Paycor (company website, Indeed, Handshake, LinkedIn), add the new vacancy to the job tracking excel sheet and to the job posting word document.
• Accurately identify and post positions on appropriate online job posting sites.
• Accurately prepare correspondence to job applicants / prospective new hires as requested
• Accurately complete pre-employment and onboarding forms with new hires; responsible for tracking and receiving missing documents.
• (W4, emergency contact, I-9).
• Run Motor Vehicle Record Checks
• Onboard temporary and or contract staff; ensuring required paperwork has been completed and processed with appropriate contacts.
• Obtain and file reference checks for all new hires.
• Provide general support for Human Resources department projects and initiatives
• Provide administrative support for employee benefits and serves as the primary backup for benefits administration.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Act as the main contact for HR department phone inquiries, providing information or transferring calls to the appropriate staff as needed.
• Ensure agency policies and procedures are reviewed and documented regularly according to the established schedule in collaboration with appropriate department heads.
• Execute staff acknowledgments for key policies and procedures
