Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking to hire an experienced Vice President, Marketing to develop and implement marketing initiatives to drive BSNB’s short and long-term strategic growth goals across product lines. VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING – As a department leader with a minimum of 7 years’ marketing experience in financial services, you will: Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan and budget that will drive the bank in achieving its key strategic objectives. Oversee and align all marketing, branding, digital initiatives, and social media strategies across all BSNB product lines; Research and make recommendations using data trends, demographic data, market research and customer feedback to deepen BSNB’s market share and presence in our communities; Oversee the Marketing component of a product launch and coordination with relevant departments. Write and provide timely and accurate information to staff regarding promotional activities and product changes; Leverage CRM to maximize BSNB’s communication and marketing strategies; Oversee quarterly and annual shareholder communications; Evaluate and respond to all community requests for contributions, sponsorships, event participation, and program book advertising. Compiles and documents bank donations/sponsorships/service efforts for Community Reinvestment Act consideration.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING

Minimum 7 years’ progressive experience in marketing in the financial services arena with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required. Demonstrated ability in one or more of the following required: advertising, campaign development, product development, customer/employee/media communications, or CRM. Demonstrated ability to remain current on marketing strategies and trends, implementing innovative solutions to enhance online presence. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution. Prior experience leading a Marketing team.
