About The Role The HR Generalist supports the full employee lifecycle for a growing technology organization building cloud-based software and data products. The role manages core people operations, including onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS data, employee documentation, and day-to-day policy guidance. This role matters because accurate, responsive people operations allow engineering, product, sales, and customer teams to scale effectively. The HR Generalist partners with employees, managers, payroll, finance, and external vendors to deliver a consistent employee experience across a remote workforce. Key Responsibilities Manage onboarding and offboarding workflows in the HRIS, including employee records, access requests, documentation, and exit checklists Administer employee changes, benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and payroll inputs using systems such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, or similar platforms Maintain accurate personnel data and reporting; audit HRIS records and produce headcount, turnover, and workforce reports for leadership Coordinate recruiting operations in the ATS, including requisition setup, interview logistics, background checks, offer documentation, and candidate status updates Respond to employee questions about policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and workplace processes while escalating sensitive issues appropriately Support performance review cycles, compensation processes, employee communications, and recurring people-program calendars Document and improve HR workflows using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and knowledge-base platforms What We Are Looking For 1-3 years of experience in HR, people operations, or a related administrative role, preferably in a technology company Working knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR compliance requirements Hands-on experience with an HRIS and ATS; familiarity with systems such as Rippling, Workday, BambooHR, Greenhouse, or Lever Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage confidential information and multiple deadlines accurately Clear written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment when handling employee questions and sensitive matters Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Bonus: PHR, SHRM-CP, experience supporting remote or multi-state employees, and familiarity with people analytics or HR reporting tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Evlo AI
