Lead Financial Technical Consultant

This position is responsible for leading large and complex enterprise-wide technology projects; planning and managing activities of departmental projects ensuring goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters; carrying out plans and activities pertaining to projects for the enterprise and subsidiaries; ensuring project tasks are completed as scheduled, risks are identified and mitigated and results are reported to management; performing project activities, ensuring currency, quality, and integrity of the information and providing consistency in content and look and feel; building and leveraging strong relationships with business community and it to provide technology solutions that address their current and future business needs; leveraging vast functional and technical knowledge of business applications to proactively identify innovative solutions that will significantly elevate capabilities of applications to meet current business needs and prepare for future business demands and and conducting complex analysis, design, enhancement and implementation of updates and changes to the HRMS system and supporting applications. Job Requirements Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Data Processing OR 7 years’ experience to include 5 years’ experience working with Workday system to include the ability to express complex concepts in terms understandable to the customer community. Understanding of how technology and IT affects the Finance division and ability to link to business processes 5 years’ experience working with workflow analysis, and procedure development. 5 years’ experience working with Finance systems and/or systems support. 5 years’ experience using Workday or retrieving stored data from databases. 3 years’ experience working in a position utilizing project management skills to include project management methodology; organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives. Knowledge of company’s business practices and direction, specifically Workday, experience in the strategic deployment of solutions. Analytical and conceptual skills; research techniques; verbal and documentation skills, including business process, functional, project and operational documentation; Ability to solve problems involving remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple areas/functions in HR division. Teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with peers, team members, management; ability to be a team player, flexible, friendly, congenial and enthusiastic. Ability to be in non-hierarchical organization, operate under dual reporting relationship; and ability to thrive in an unstructured hands-on environment. This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote.
