Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and meticulous histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to design and implement individualized surgical plans for each patient
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which involves preparing surgical rooms, ensuring patient safety, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Administer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education sessions

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
