Budget Analyst

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Duties Perform a variety of budget administration functions in the formulation, execution and review of the Civil Works Operation and Maintenance, General Regulatory, Emergency Management, and Overhead accounts. Review and track status of obligations and expenditures for Civil Works Operation and Maintenance, General Regulatory, and Emergency Management appropriations received in the Kansas City District Advise managers and program/project managers on requirements for the preparation, documentation, and submission of budget requests. Coordinate funds request between District management, program/project managers, and customers. Requirements This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Position requires a Financial Management Level 2 Certificate in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 US Code, section 1599d.
