Maintenance Technician

Position Maintenance Technician – Full Time Location: Winston Salem Pay: $35.33/hr, with $1.15 shift differential for 2nd Shift and $1.50 shift differential for 3rd Shift. Bonus: up to 4% based on plant performance. Shifts: 2nd Shift (2:00pm – 10:30pm), 3rd Shift (10:00pm – 6:30pm). Responsibilities Emphasis on safe work practices, adherence to LOTO procedures, and use of PPE. Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, and robotics. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use knowledge of 120V, 208V, and 480V circuits. Use conveyors, electronics, PLC hardware, ladder logic. Understand motor control circuitry (VFDs, soft starters, etc.). Set up and operate machines such as lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinder, power saws. Read schematics and blueprints. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic tasks related to production machines. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment functionality. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical and electrical repair knowledge. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, 480V electrical systems. Experience with preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. Benefits Competitive hourly pay with wage progression.
