Inspire and empower students as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive school environment near Dallas, TX. This contract role runs full time from ASAP through May 26, 2027, with opportunities to serve K-12th grade classrooms. You will work in a self-contained classroom, making a meaningful difference for students with unique learning needs. Autism experience is preferred, and your expertise will help shape each student's educational journey.

Your main focus will involve providing individualized instruction, implementing IEPs, and conducting consistent progress monitoring. With multiple grade levels available, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills across K-12 settings, creating inclusive and supportive classrooms. A collaborative spirit and dedication to student growth are essential, as is adaptability in a dynamic school environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education EC-12 certification and General Education Content certification (such as Generalist EC-6).
• Prior experience in a Special Education classroom, preferably self-contained.
• Autism support experience highly desirable.
• Proficient in instruction, IEP implementation, and student progress monitoring.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs across K-12 grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons aligned with each student's IEP.
• Track and report student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and related service professionals.
• Ensure compliance with district and state requirements.
