Account Executive

Dormont Manufacturing Company

Responsibilities Outside sales of Astound business services including Fiber Internet, Voice, Hosted Voice and other related products to business accounts in assigned geographical areas. Focus on enterprise prospects with advanced network and IT requirements. Convey order information politely and efficiently to support personnel and ensure all order information is entered accurately within 48 hours. Complete all sales transactions, providing the customer with a scheduled installation stipulated by engineering and construction. Complete all paperwork and agreements accurately, legibly and thoroughly. Maintain and demonstrate current knowledge of Astound Broadband products, programming and promotional offers. Provide exceptional customer service at all times. Submit sales claims for unpaid completed sales within the allotted time frame. Project a professional business manner and operate with a high degree of integrity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2–4 years of prior experience managing business accounts in a sales or customer service environment preferred. 1–2 years of practical, hands‑on experience canvassing or cold‑calling small and medium‑sized business customers strongly preferable. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Ability to work within Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent detail orientation and follow‑through skills. Strong discretionary skills; will have access to confidential information. Frequent to continuous driving, walking, bending and reaching. Occasional exposure to inclement weather. Occasional to frequent exposure to uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights. Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc. Frequent to extensive local travel. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (sales materials). Position requires flexibility to work within non‑standard business hours ranging from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. all 7 days per week to meet sales quota. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. Insurance options including medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance. Paid Time Off/Vacation: starting at 80 hours per year, increasing with tenure. Floating Holiday: 40 hours per year. Paid Holidays: 7 days per year. Paid Sick Leave: varies by state and local laws. Employee discount program. Compensation and Pay Base salary: $65,000 annually (California only). Additional bonuses, benefits and commission available. Targeted commissions at full attainment: $21,600. Total compensation offers potential for significant upside above targeted earnings.
