Career Strategies is hiring a Full-Time Re-Certification Specialist for a Tax Credit Apartment Community in the Jersey City, NJ area.  We are seeking an employee with excellent people skills, high energy, positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and wants the opportunity to grow with a Property Management Company. 

 

Job Title: Re-Certification Specialist 

Hours:  Full-Time 

Duration: 3 month assignment (Temporary) 

 

Job Duties:

• Preparation and approval of initial and annual tenant income certifications
• Review of tenant files to ensure compliance with applicable government regulations
• Follow up with applicants to obtain required LIHC documentation
• Completing adhoc projects, as needed.

 

Requirements: 

• Affordable Housing Experience is required. 
• Tax Credit, Affordable Housing/Bond Paperwork or Section 8 Experience or Real Estate Knowledge. 
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• Above average computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, Sales and Customer Service skills.
• Professional presentation - friendly, energetic, great people skills.
