Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A clinical hospital staff pharmacist position is available on a contract basis for 13 weeks, with potential to extend. This role supports an inpatient hospital environment and involves rotating between first and second shifts, covering 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Manage and dispense medications accurately following established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy, particularly in oncology.
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy systems for order processing and documentation.
• Monitor patient responses to medication therapies and adjust treatments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois pharmacy license.
• Strong clinical experience in inpatient pharmacy practice.
• Oncology pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule:

• Rotating first and second shifts (7 AM–3:30 PM and 2:30 PM–10 PM)
• Rotating weekends
