Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab within the last year

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced cardiac care, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and complex vascular interventions
• Float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier hospitals
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, monitoring, and scrubbing on complex cases
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, perform critical patient assessments
• Use advanced imaging systems like Philips modalities and EMR systems (Meditech Expanse)
• Support the cath lab team during high-acuity procedures with a patient ratio of 1:1
• Contribute to a safe, sterile environment, adhering to protocols such as sterile technique and air management

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 3 years RN experience; at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab setting
• Ability to perform circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring functions
• Experience with cardiac/interventional procedures and equipment (e.g., Impella, IABP, Laser atherectomy)
• Valid Driver's License (required for floating between facilities)

• Experience with Merge hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Familiarity with complex interventional tools (e.g., Rotoblater, Pnumbra)
• Experience with vascular and structural heart interventions

About the Assignment This position is at a prominent hospital that performs a variety of complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. The nurse will support both Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier facilities, providing critical care and procedural assistance in a fast-paced, technology-rich environment. The role includes orientation, scheduled call shifts, and work during holidays on a rotation basis.
