Responsibilities Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. Write and edit configuration and how‑to documentation, code documentation for software, implementation guides, end‑user guides, field, data definition, and data flow documentation. Format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, and consult with technical personnel and other available resources. Assist in preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications. Gather technical information and prepare written text. Maintain a current internal documentation library. Use multiple word‑processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio. Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials. Coordinate layout and design of documents. Prepare reports, responses, and briefings for a wide range of audiences. Required Qualifications US citizenship and appropriate security clearance (TS/SCI with agency‑appropriate polygraph). At least 2 years experience as a Technical Writer in similar programs and contracts. Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 2 additional years of TW experience to substitute. Rates are a general guideline and vary based on contract rates, education, experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.
