CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR

APW Pro Services – Orlando, FL

$25–$27/hour | Full-Time | PICKUP TRUCK REQUIRED

APW Pro Services is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day coordination and execution of residential and commercial construction projects throughout Central Florida.

This is not an entry-level administrative position. We need someone with real construction experience who understands how projects operate in the field and knows how to keep jobs organized, on schedule, and moving from start to completion.

Responsibilities:

●Coordinate multiple active construction projects and daily job priorities

●Track project schedules, milestones, deadlines, and upcoming work

●Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material deliveries, and inspections

●Proactively follow up with subcontractors and vendors to prevent scheduling gaps and delays

●Read and understand construction drawings, plans, scopes of work, and specifications

●Understand construction terminology, trade sequencing, and dependencies between trades

●Make sure subcontractors understand their scope and scheduled work

●Monitor job progress and identify potential schedule, scope, or field issues early

●Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, field crews, clients, and office staff

●Assist with material procurement and coordination

●Coordinate with the office regarding permits and inspections

●Maintain project documentation, photos, progress updates, and records

●Help ensure work is being completed according to the contracted scope and project schedule

●Identify and escalate problems before they become project delays

Required Qualifications:

●Previous experience in construction project coordination, project management, assistant project management, superintendent/assistant superintendent work, or a similar construction role

●Must be able to read and understand construction plans

●Strong understanding of construction terminology, trades, and construction sequencing

●Strong scheduling, organization, and follow-up skills

●Ability to coordinate several active projects and priorities

●Comfortable communicating directly with subcontractors and field personnel

●Able to work independently and take initiative without requiring constant direction

●Valid driver's license

●Must own and have regular access to a reliable PICKUP TRUCK

●Ability to travel to active jobsites throughout Orlando and Central Florida as needed

●Spanish languages a plus

VEHICLE REQUIREMENT

A pickup truck is required for this position due to project and jobsite needs.

SUVs, sedans, crossovers, and other passenger vehicles do not meet this requirement.

Compensation

Starting pay: $25/hour

Opportunity to increase to $27/hour based on demonstrated performance and the ability to independently coordinate projects.
