Perioperative Education Coord- OR Ortho Spine Tower- FT- 1st Shift

Overview Reports to the Director of Surgical Services. Functions within a team of perioperative education coordinators to coordinate/facilitate education, communication, quality/performance improvement, and department survey readiness (TJC and CMS). Qualifications EDUCATION: Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama Licensure. BSN preferred. EXPERIENCE: Extensive perioperative experience. Demonstrates leadership ability. Management experience desirable. Additional Skills/Abilities : BCLS required (must be completed within the Orientation Period). BCLS instructor preferred, ACLS preferred, CNOR/ASPAN preferred, demonstrated ability to lead and work within a team, demonstrated ability to manage projects, excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft office applications as well as the facilities systems (SIS, iCare, Netlearning, Docushare, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr Huntsville Hospital
