Hourly pay is negotiable based on experience. We offer competitive market pay and opportunities for bonus depending on great work performance (bonuses only apply for Full Time).

Responsibilities include:

• Supervision of designated laboratory section(s) under the direction of the Laboratory Administrative Director and Medical Director.
• Monitoring all test procedures for accuracy and precision.
• Providing all procedure and policy manuals for that section.
• Working as a technologist within their section and possibly cross training in other areas to ensure staffing integrity.
• Training of students and new staff members.
• Administering and ensuring the completed competency assessment of all staff members within the sub-department.
• Maintaining inventory at appropriate levels and dating.
• Evaluating, implementing, and validating new equipment and ensuring the appropriate training of staff.
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of test reporting.
• Maintaining department productivity and efficiency.
• Supervision and performance evaluation of personnel.
• Maintaining records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with maintaining laboratory operations and performing other tasks as necessary to ensure continuity of patient care.
