Financial Analyst

A premier global leader in the aerospace and defense sector is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in either Lansdale Pennsylvania or Eatontown New Jersey. This organization is a dominant force in aviation technology with systems integrated into the vast majority of aircraft worldwide. This position offers a unique chance to work within a highly visible team environment focused on program financial planning and analysis. You will play a critical role in supporting the Program Management Office by providing the financial transparency needed for proactive decision making and improved profitability. The team operates on a 9 80 work schedule providing every other Friday off. Lead the forecasting budgeting and analysis of primary program metrics including orders sales margins and cash flow Conduct in depth variance analysis against established financial benchmarks Develop and manage program estimates at completion for revenue and margin adjustments Create time phased program baselines to monitor cost and schedule performance for various portfolios Monitor material expenditures from consolidated bill of material data and track production labor costs Act as a cross functional partner to engineering operations procurement and contracts departments Manage the creation of work breakdown structures and charge numbers within the Oracle ERP system Assist in the development of the annual operating plan and long range strategic goals Mentor junior staff members by reviewing work and sharing best practices Support proposal development audits and contract negotiations Qualifications At least three years of professional experience as a Finance Analyst Advanced proficiency in financial modeling forecasting and budgeting Strong technical skills in spreadsheet software and ERP systems specifically Oracle or similar platforms Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights Background in the defense or aerospace industry is highly preferred Bachelor degree in Finance Accounting or a related field of study Requirements Due to government export control regulations all applicants must be a US Person which includes US citizens permanent residents or those with protected status such as asylees or refugees.
