JOB TITLE: Runner
REPORTS TO: Production Manager

SUMMARY
The essential job function of a Runner is to ensure the lines have the component parts needed to keep the lines operating and to put away finished goods when a box is full and complete.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inbound Runners: Supply parts to lines as needed, using pallet jack. Remove empty cartons from lines as needed. Take completed parts to staging area for forklift to take to dock.
• Outbound Runners: Supply empty cartons to lines and remove completed cartons to staging area for forklift to take to dock. Will construct cartons, lids and inserts as needed for production.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive duties.

Preferred:
• Experience in manufacturing operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Frequently moves parts weighing up to 50 pounds across the facility.
• Frequently walks in the warehouse.
• Frequently communicates with other employees and managers.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 95% or more.
