Physician (Regular Ft) - Vascular Surgeon

Job Title
The Huntington, WV VA Healthcare System advocates for a Whole Health System of care in each of the Medical Centers. This is an approach to healthcare that empowers and equips people to take charge of their health and well-being and live their lives to the fullest.
The Vascular Surgeon will have clinical skills and experience in the full range of Surgical Vascular care.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings, inpatient units, cath lab, and operative care.
- Maintain professional competency, courtesy and flexibility and provide the necessary services of this specialty.
- Perform all aspects of Vascular Surgery within approved credentials and privileges.
- Participate in program planning, objectives, policies and standards essential to delivery of quality care.
- Participate in all aspects of the Vascular selection.
- Manage patient workload within available staffing, which may include support of mid-levels, students, and resident education.
- Document all clinical encounters consistent within established guidelines.
Work Schedule: 7:30 to 4:00, Monday through Friday
