Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one completed travel assignment for a 13-week contract.

Details

• 3x12 night shifts from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday
• Float required between two facility locations overnight
• Uses Siemens MRI scanner
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Performs MRI studies of the abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular systems
• Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience within the last 7 years
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment
• BLS certification required
• ARMRIT, ARRT (MR), and ARRT (R) certifications preferred
• License required if applicable
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience with peripheral IV starts preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with special imaging techniques such as MIP and MRP preferred

Additional Information

• Perform MRI exams across abdominal, neuro, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular specialties
• No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract, with none allowed during the first two weeks
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay rate
• Candidates returning to this health system must have been separated from previous employment for at least one year
