Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehab

Facility: East Cooper Medical Center Location: Mount Pleasant, SC Department: IRF Position Type: FT Nights Work Schedule: 7p-7a Responsibilities Under direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse, provide direct and/or indirect safe and effective professional nursing care. Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating health care needs of all patients assigned. Provide nursing care to a patient population ranging from infant to geriatric, unless otherwise indicated. Work collaboratively with the health care team, be customer focused and strive to meet unit and hospital goals. Provide quality nursing care according to established practice standards and guidelines for the area(s) assigned. Must be willing/able to float to other comparable nursing units, as requested/needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in compact state required. BCLS required. ACLS preferred. One year relevant experience preferred. Note: If RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and has not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating the license. Must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
