Key Qualifications Master’s degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology Approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education Experience with special education evaluations, particularly for early elementary age groups Familiarity with collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches Strong communication and organizational skills Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychological evaluations for students in preschool through fourth grade, or grades 1–4, as needed Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to create supportive educational plans Ensure accurate and timely completion of all evaluation documentation and reports Participate in meetings with educational teams to review findings and develop strategies for student success Support the district in meeting compliance standards related to special education assessments and timelines Additional Role Details 21 hours per week onsite; building location to be determined Assignment runs for the duration of the 2026–2027 school year Direct involvement with a single, clearly defined caseload Engage with a community dedicated to student well‑being and growth Step into a role where your expertise will empower students and provide invaluable support to educational teams.
