Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Clinical Nurse

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State
• BLS and PALS certifications upon hire; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• One year of clinical nurse experience preferred
• Prior experience in the area of specialty is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform nursing care procedures for patients of all ages.
• Make independent clinical decisions and maintain accountability for actions taken.
• Administer age-specific medications and therapeutics accurately.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and responsible for post-care instructions.
• Document patient assessments, progress, and outcomes thoroughly.

Compliance / Notes:

• Requires submission of 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance.
• Must have current flu vaccination.
