Associate Director, Quality Control

Senior Manager leading quality control laboratory operations across two Pennsylvania sites for biotherapeutic and advanced therapy programs. Responsible for strategic oversight of 80+ employees, laboratory compliance, testing operations, and partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead multi-site QC organization; oversee talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning
- Establish QC vision, operating model, and strategic goals across Malvern and Spring House locations
- Provide integrated oversight of biotherapeutic and advanced therapy testing laboratories
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, data integrity standards, and inspection readiness
- Partner with manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory, and supply chain teams on product quality and safety
Requirements
- Leadership experience managing 80+ employees across multiple sites
- Deep knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality control testing operations
- Experience with analytical methods, validation, and laboratory systems management
- Proven ability to build teams, develop talent, and drive continuous improvement
- Strong data integrity and compliance expertise in regulated environments
- Experience with advanced therapies, biotherapeutics, or cell/gene therapy programs
