Senior Electrical Superintendent - Data Center

We are partnered with a leading national General Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Superintendent to oversee field operations on a major data center project.

This is a fully onsite position and an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor with a strong mission-critical pipeline, excellent career progression and long-term project security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day field operations and coordination of electrical trade contractors and subcontractors.
\n
• Ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the approved project schedule.
\n
• Maintain a detailed understanding of contract documents, drawings and project requirements.
\n
• Develop and communicate field work plans, including any changes or contingency measures.
\n
• Manage project schedules, monitor progress and communicate updates to the project team and trades.
\n
• Plan and coordinate jobsite logistics, materials and workforce requirements.
\n
• Lead contractor meetings, daily huddles and pre-task planning.
\n
• Act as a key safety representative onsite, ensuring compliance across all trades.
\n
• Oversee quality-control plans and resolve potential issues before they affect delivery.
\n
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
\n
• Support subcontractor scopes, buyout, T&M tracking and financial forecasting.
\n
• Train and manage Field Engineers, Superintendents and other direct reports.
\n
• Build strong relationships with clients, trade partners and the wider project team.
\n

Experience Required:

\n
• 7-12 years of construction experience in a Superintendent position.
\n
• Strong electrical construction experience.
\n
• Experience leading a major component of work or complete projects valued at $30M+.
\n
• Previous data center or mission-critical project experience is highly preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, scheduling, logistics, cost control and safety.
\n
• Confident leading subcontractors and managing complex onsite operations.
\n
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
\n
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
\n
