Floor Manager

The Floor Manager delivers an exceptional guest experience by consistently exceeding Great Jones standards. This highly visible role oversees all guest‑facing areas—including the lobby, bar, restaurant, tours, and private events—while maintaining a strong floor presence, supporting staff, and leading FOH operations in a fast‑paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Oversee and maintain daily operations and guest relations across all areas of the business, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience Support the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of Front of House (FOH) staff Maintain a consistent, visible presence on the floor across all shifts and departments to support staff and engage with guests Manage and oversee private events in collaboration with the Events team, including client communication, team leadership, and coordination of all logistics to ensure successful execution Address performance issues for FOH staff in partnership with the AGM and Director of Hospitality Attend and actively participate in weekly BEO and FOH leadership meetings Lead ongoing staff training initiatives to ensure consistent execution of The Great Jones service standards Complete all daily operational tasks, including opening and closing responsibilities, to ensure smooth FOH operations Assist with additional operational needs as required, including inventory management, basic building maintenance, and other business-related tasks Qualifications Minimum 2 years of management experience in an NYC f&b destination, attraction, or comparable high‑volume visitor‑facing environment Ability to learn quickly, adapt and make sound decisions in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Experience managing and leading a large team Hospitality first mindset with a strong passion for exceptional guest experiences Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and leadership Highly organized with strong time‑management skills and attention to detail Experience with POS, ticketing and reservation platforms preferred (Toast POS, TripleSeat, OpenTable, etc.) Must have a high level of flexibility, including a willingness to work weekends, holidays and additional hours when necessary The salary range for this role is a base salary of $57,000 - $67,000. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
