Endurance Solutions Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in White Plains, New York. Work Environment

This position is unique as it revolves around providing onsite home care to patients. You will engage with patients in their own homes, which not only fosters a relaxed atmosphere but also allows for customized therapy sessions that address each individual's specific needs. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule that supports both our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Endurance Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic exercises and interventions aimed at improving strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and overall mobility.
• Guiding patients through safe ambulation practices and functional movements, particularly following injuries or major surgical procedures.
• Educating patients and their families on fall prevention strategies, ensuring they understand how to maintain a safe living environment.
• Designing and offering pulmonary rehabilitation programs specifically for patients dealing with respiratory conditions to enhance their breathing efficiency and physical endurance.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of patient health.
• Fostering independence by assisting patients in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Incorporating cognitive rehabilitation tasks to support patients in maintaining or improving their cognitive functions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting a diverse range of patients, from the elderly recovering from hip replacements to younger individuals recuperating from sports injuries. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with diverse healthcare team members.
• Ability to create and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While clinical experience in skilled nursing facilities is preferred, it is not strictly required. Instead, we value a solid foundation in physical therapy principles, along with a genuine desire to learn and adapt in the home care setting. We will provide mentoring and support for those transitioning into home health care.

Compensation and Benefits

Endurance Solutions offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
