Insurance Member Services, Health Division Location: Orlando, Florida Annual Salary Range: $68,000 to $80,000 Classification: Full-Time, ExemptHelp Build Healthier Workplaces Across FloridaAre you passionate about improving employee health, creating engaging wellness programs, and helping organizations build a culture of well-being?The Florida League of Cities is seeking a collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented Wellness Coordinator to support the development and delivery of integrated health and employee wellness programs for Florida's municipal workforce and League staff.This role is ideal for a wellness professional who enjoys building relationships, presenting educational programs, analyzing participation and health data, and bringing creative wellness initiatives to life. The position works with HR Wellness Champions, wellness committees, benefit teams, care-management partners, and other stakeholders throughout Florida.What You'll DoAssist with the administration and ongoing development of integrated health promotion and workplace wellness programs.Partner with member HR Wellness Champions, wellness committees, benefit teams, and external care-management programs.Assess organizational health and wellness education needs.Coordinate wellness initiatives, employee education programs, health screenings, assessments, and targeted interventions.Serve as a trusted resource for employee wellness education and conduct engaging classes and presentations.Promote wellness programs and connect participants with appropriate services and resources.Analyze program participation and other wellness data to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.Evaluate program effectiveness and prepare meaningful reports.Maintain accurate wellness program inventories and participation records.Develop manuals, announcements, bulletins, presentations, and promotional materials.Promote wellness activities, events, and services through appropriate communication channels.Prepare materials and present at regional seminars and conferences throughout Florida.Attend and support open enrollment benefit meetings.Participate in the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference and other affiliated conferences.Travel weekly to member locations across Florida, with frequent overnight travel.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in health education, public health, workplace wellness, or a closely related field.Two to five years of professional experience in health promotion, workplace wellness, public health, employee well-being, or a related field.Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, promoting, or evaluating health and wellness programs.Knowledge of current and emerging wellness programs, vendors, tools, resources, and industry practices.Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and organizations.Strong public speaking, facilitation, and presentation skills.Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences and personalities.Ability to exercise independent judgment, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions.Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida on a weekly basis, including frequent overnight travel.Bilingual English and Spanish highly preferred.A postgraduate degree in public health, Certified Health Education Specialist credential, or a comparable professional certification is preferred but not required.Why Join the Florida League of Cities?We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' professional growth, financial future, health, and work-life balance, including:35-hour workweek, Monday through FridayGenerous personal time program with accrual based on length of service14 paid holidays, including the employee's birthday and a floating holiday for a religious or cultural observanceUp to six weeks of paid parental leave following birth, adoption, or foster placementPaid major medical leave for qualifying hospitalization or extensive related outpatient servicesComprehensive health insurance, with the League contributing toward employee and dependent coverage100% employer-paid dental coverage for employeesEmployer-paid life insurance equal to the employee's annual salaryEmployer-paid long-term disability coverage, subject to eligibility and plan requirementsDefined benefit retirement plan, with vesting after six years457(b) retirement plan with a 3% employer match, up to $3,000, after one year of employmentEducation reimbursement after one year of full-time service, up to $2,800 annually for undergraduate studies and $5,600 annually for graduate studiesMedical and dependent-care flexible spending accountsEmployee Assistance Program available from the first day of employmentReimbursement for approved business travel expenses, including mileage, tolls, parking, airfare, and other eligible expensesPaid civic leave for qualifying activities such as jury duty, voting, blood donation, and community volunteeringEligibility dates, coverage levels, limitations, and other terms are governed by the applicable benefit plans and policies.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe Florida League of Cities is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.Please Note: This is a tobacco-free workplace.
