Description What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab testschemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondwhile adhering to established procedures.
• Carefully evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance as well as calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure proper preparation of samples for testing as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, help train new team members, and uphold the quality standards of the laboratory.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment, and comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification from ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification throughout employment.
