Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: August 20, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36 hours per week; every other weekend required; 13-week assignment

Highlights:

• Work in a nationally recognized specialty and transplant facility acclaimed for world-class kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant programs
• Critical care environment with exposure to advanced procedures including central lines, bronchoscopy, and bedside tracheostomies
• Electronic documentation system using Meditech EMR
• Opportunity to work with specialized patient populations including transplant, bariatric surgery, and multi-system critical care patients
• Float opportunities available to other ICU units within the healthcare system when census requires
• 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience required
• Minimum 2 years of hospital or travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Preferred: Experience with Rotoprone, CRRT (Prismaflex), and Meditech EMR
• Willingness to float to other units as needed based on census
