Job Title: HVAC Sales Representative – Mechanical Contractor Accounts

Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven HVAC Sales Representative to focus on developing and managing relationships with mechanical contractors. This role is ideal for a technically knowledgeable and personable sales professional who understands the HVAC industry and thrives in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, target, and develop relationships with mechanical contractors and commercial project stakeholders.
• Promote and sell HVAC systems, components, and services tailored to contractor needs.
• Conduct site visits, assess project requirements, and provide technical consultation.
• Prepare and deliver customized proposals, bids, and presentations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Track sales activity, and report on pipeline progress.
• Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably with a focus on mechanical contractors or commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and mechanical drawings.
• Estimating plan takeoff: Must be able to understand construction documents.
• Familiarity with construction industry processes.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working with design-build or plan-and-spec projects.
