DPP is seeking a Tool Engineer 3 for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry. Work location: Onsite in Palmdale, CA Work shift: 9x80 A Duration: 4 months Terms: W2 position Work authorization: US Citizen Responsibilities:
- The Tool Engineer 3 will support the Tooling department.
- Designs industrial machinery and equipment, tools, died, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and machine attachments required for production or experimental use, considering such factors as accessibility, economy, mobility, and performance requirements.
Required qualifications:
- The candidate must have a professional engineering certificate and the ability to perform stress analysis as well as stamp it.
- Must have experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Must have experience in Aerospace Tooling.
- Must have experience with CATIA v5.
- Must have experience in professional engineering.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems
- Experience with Femap
