The ideal candidate will have experience in preventative maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on gas, electric, water, and steam‑powered commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively, explaining repair procedures, and offering solutions to minimize downtime. Ensure all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used; prepare and submit service reports and invoices promptly. Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; order and replenish supplies as needed; keep truck stock stocked. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and training. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in appliance repair, HVAC, or a related field preferred. 0–2 years of experience repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and gas systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Relevant certifications such as EPA 608, CFESA, or equivalent are a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Successful completion of a satisfactory background screening. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective time‑management and the ability to prioritize tasks, work independently or as part of a team. Customer‑focused mindset dedicated to high‑quality service and satisfaction. Physical Requirements: Lift up to 75 pounds; frequently move up to 100 pounds with assistance and heavy‑lift equipment. Work comfortably in confined spaces and heights. Stand, walk, bend for extended periods; climb ladders as required. Travel extensively to work‑site locations.
