Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist license required
- Experience working within elementary school settings preferred
- Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Strong skills in individual and group assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and direct intervention to elementary students
- Consult with educators, families, and school teams to develop strategies for student success
- Support the creation and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Deliver counseling services to students individually or in groups to address emotional and behavioral challenges
- Contribute expertise during eligibility, review, and planning meetings
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
