Job Description
Make a meaningful impact on students’ lives by providing essential psychological services in an educational setting. In this full-time, onsite role, you will support two elementary caseloads through assessment, intervention, and collaborative consultation—all within a dynamic, student-focused environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027, offering stability and the chance to develop enriching relationships with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid school psychologist license required
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, administrators, and families
- Effective communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
- Committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for K-6 students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies that support academic, social, and emotional success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Offer consultations and recommendations to teachers and parents to enhance educational outcomes
- Respond to crisis situations with guidance and support for students and staff
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative school climate
