About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool position at Hartford HealthCare involves providing direct and indirect patient care across various departments, utilizing the nursing process to meet the needs of patients in a community hospital setting. Highlights Location: Torrington, CT Facility: Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Department/Unit: Nursing Float Pool Schedule: Part Time, Night shift What You'll Do Provide direct and indirect patient care based on assigned areas. Develop unique education and care plans for each patient. Provide appropriate education and support for family members. Utilize judgment and knowledge to direct ancillary staff. Function across departments in the role of a critical care RN. Work in variable departments including ED, ICU, Telemetry & Med-Surg. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Experience At least 1 year of recent experience in an ICU setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in Connecticut.
