About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years in specialty License: Active license required prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience floating between ICU specialties - Ability to care for patients in step-down units - Strong skills in arterial line management and care of ventilated patients Description: Travelers will float between two campuses. Five ICU specialties are available. Must float to step-down units as needed. The patient ratio for days and nights is 1-2. Daily census includes adults and geriatric patients. The unit functions as a generalist role, without requiring specific specialties. Key skills include management of dysrhythmias and experience with pulmonary artery lines. Team collaboration is essential in a critical care environment. Experience with various critical care and step-down units is beneficial. A reference is required for application. Candidates must be willing to accommodate the facility's needs. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
