Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Two dedicated individuals are needed to work with middle school caseloads starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2026. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, with working hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.

You’ll be working within a dynamic and supportive educational environment, helping to create meaningful learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Behavior challenges may vary, providing an engaging opportunity to utilize and expand your expertise alongside a collaborative team. Both in-person and virtual interviews are available, making the process as flexible as possible.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential with a Mathematics (EX) endorsement
• At least one of the following special education endorsements: Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Emotional Impairment (SE), or Learning Disabilities (SM)
• Experience working with middle school students preferred
• Ability to manage and adapt to a range of student behaviors
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver instruction in math and special education content areas
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
