Position Details:

• Location: Bartow Regional Medical Center 2200 Osprey Blvd, Bartow, FL 33830
• Status: Fulltime
• Shift: Variable - 6:30AM - 3:00PM and 6:30AM - 5:00PM
• On Call: Yes
• Always in person

Summary:

The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills
• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team
• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year of Operating Room experience as an RN for consideration.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or Associate's Nursing and RN Certification in related field

Experience :

• Required includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural
• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
