We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in Lake Havasu City, AZ, 86403. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical settings. As a Float Medical Assistant, you will be required to work in multiple locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Assist with patient education and follow-up care
• Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing insurance claims.
• Work in multiple locations as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a float position
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
