Position Overview:
The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations while contributing to a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This role requires the ability to apply business knowledge and HR best practices while supporting both employees and management. This position offers broad exposure across the HR function, with a strong focus ononboarding.

Responsibilities and Duties:- Onboarding(40%)
- Oversee onboarding activities and ensuretimely, consistent execution
- Coordinate pre-onboarding activities, including job postings, offer letters, background checks, new hire paperwork, system setup, andlogistics
- Communicate onboarding details and expectations to new hires
- Coordinate orientations and support new employees during their transition
- Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their roles and company culture
- Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding process
- Generalist Support(40%)
- Lead and contribute to HR projects and departmental initiatives
- Identifyand implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Support recruiting, performance management, benefits administration, and training initiatives
- Facilitate initiatives that promote employee engagement and retention
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assistwith audits, reporting, and policy updates as needed
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers
- Contribute to an efficient, compliant, and employee-focused HR function
- Administrative Support(20%)
- Respond to employee inquiries and providetimelysupport
- Maintainaccurateemployee records, including data entry, filing, invoicing, and reporting
- Manage and audit employee data within the HRIS (e.g., BambooHR)
- Ensure proper document management and recordkeeping compliance
Performadditionalduties as assigned, with opportunities for increased responsibility as the role evolves
Qualificationsand Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience orequivalentcombination of education and experienceisrequired
- Experience in the mortgageor financial servicesindustry preferred
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is desirable,but notrequired

- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR)
