Registered Nurse (RN)

An exciting opportunity is available in a cardiac catheterization lab, focusing on dynamic pre and post-procedure care as well as recovery in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This fast-paced environment involves the treatment of patients with various conditions, including vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and procedural support in both acute and non-acute situations.
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures and monitoring their recovery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (New York license only).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Telemetry experience.
• Recent experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU is required.
• Cath lab experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically structured as four 10-hour shifts with a rotation of days, nights, and weekends based on unit needs.
