Employment Litigation Partner - Labor & EmploymentA nationally recognized, full-service law firm is expanding its Labor & Employment Practice Group and seeking a seasoned Employment Litigation Partner to lead high-stakes defense matters and help shape the next chapter of a growing, collaborative practice in San Francisco.What you'll do:- Lead sophisticated employment defense matters - wage and hour, PAGA, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination - from inception through resolution- Try and argue complex cases in California state and federal courts and represent employers before the EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor, and state administrative agencies- Deliver strategic employment counseling and proactive risk-management advice that helps clients stay ahead of liability- Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and legal staff, building the depth of the practice group- Cultivate and grow lasting client relationships; portable book of business welcomed but not required- Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development, thought leadership, and industry positioning- Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, and mutual support across the broader Labor & Employment teamWhat you need:- 10+ years of employment defense litigation experience, with significant wage and hour and class action exposure- Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation in California state and federal courts- Proven leadership and mentoring track record - you have developed other attorneys- Strong advocacy, analytical writing, and client communication skills- Active California Bar admission in good standingNice to have:- Portable book of business (welcomed, not required)- Administrative agency hearing experience (EEOC, DLSE, DFEH/CRD)- Experience advising multi-state employers on California-specific compliance- Prior law firm partnership or practice group leadership experienceLocation & schedule:Los Angeles Or San Francisco, CA - HybridHow to apply:If you are a strategic employment litigator ready for a platform that rewards leadership, sophistication, and entrepreneurial drive, Click apply now with your resume and a brief note on your litigation focus and any portable business.Benefits -Base salary $200,000 - $300,000 depending on experience and portable business-Bonus: Discretionary and billable-based bonus opportunities [Add target bonus range or typical payout percentage if possible]- Time off: Unlimited PTO for attorneys- Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage- Accounts: Flexible spending accounts (FSA)- Retirement:401(k)- Culture: Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with meaningful client contact and clear advancement paths
