Restoration Supervisor

Job Full Description

Express Employment is looking for a motivated and hands-on Restoration Supervisor to lead restoration crews and oversee projects involving property damage restoration, contents handling, and emergency response services. This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to guide team members while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct crew members on project scope, work expectations, and safety procedures.
• Serve as the primary on-site leader, ensuring work is completed according to company standards.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when working with property owners and project stakeholders during difficult situations.
• Maintain accurate daily job notes, timekeeping records, and T&M documentation.
• Inventory and document contents using a smartphone and company applications.
• Perform and oversee the uninstallation, disassembly, reassembly, and reinstallation of a variety of items, including high-value contents.
• Track and document company equipment assigned to projects.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding project progress and needs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide leadership during emergency response situations.
• Maintain organization of hardware, components, and subassemblies to ensure proper reassembly.
• Submit accurate weekly timesheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of restoration, construction, moving, or related industry experience .
• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading or managing a small team .
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated empathy and problem-solving skills.

• Power tools
• Hand tools
• Forklift operation (preferred)
• Smartphone and mobile application usage
• Inventory tracking and documentation

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
• Frequently required to stand and move throughout job sites.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment as needed.
• Ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions associated with restoration projects.
