This facility is a specialized orthopedic hospital with an inpatient rehabilitation unit, offering a focused and supportive environment for patient care. The unit features a 10-bed department with a structured Monday through Friday schedule and no call requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance for providers.

Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Job Details:
Provide inpatient rehabilitation coverage seeing 10 patients per day within the orthopedic hospital setting
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements
Patient population is adults 18 and older with an average patient age of 70 years old
Patient mix is approximately 10% Medicaid and 80% Medicare
Must have demonstrated rehab and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation experience
No special procedures required for this role
Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required
Active North Carolina license or IMLC required to be considered
ACLS and BLS certifications are required
Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
Interview process includes a phone screen with the clinic administrator, VP of the Neurosciences Institute, and the Clinical Physician Executive
Will accept multiple providers to cover shifts, up to 2-3 providers maximum
Locum Tenens engagement with an ASAP start date on an ongoing basis
Compensation:
