Attorney - Workers Compensation Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks a New York-Barred Attorney to join its litigation practice in New York. The role involves defending clients in workers' compensation actions, requiring advocacy skills and a commitment to fair court processes. The position offers significant client interaction and opportunities to present strategies in court. Duties Represent client interests at virtual hearings and telephonic depositions. Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters. Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations. Apply firm standards and tactics to achieve client goals. Requirements New York bar in good standing is required. Litigation and trial experience preferred. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build rapport with clients.
