Part Time Home Health Nurse ManagerBrightStar Care of Sugar Land / W. Houston / Katy, TX is looking for a Part Time Home Health Nurse Manager interested in working two to three days per week, to join our team. BrightStar Care is proud to offer you the opportunity to pursue your passion as a Registered Nurse at your own level, with flexibility, helping us service our skilled (non-medicare) and non-skilled clients.Benefits:Competitive pay ranging from $45 - $50 per hourGuarantee of 16 or 24 hours per week (two or three week days)Auto AllowanceSome flexibility to fit your lifestyleWork Setting:Estimated 60% field, 40% officeJob Responsibilities:Perform care as defined by patient's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act.Supervise and lead Nursing TeamPerform Living Room Visits with the teamMonitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changesConduct chart audits and prepare clinical reports as requiredComplete and update plans of careCounsel patient and family in meeting nursing and related needsAssist with preparing QAPI dataFollow up on patient care issues and document accordinglyOn call as requiredEducate and train staff and conduct orientation on new staffAdhere to State, Joint Commission, and Brightstar policies and proceduresVariety of field assignments (Infusions, injections, wound care, clinical trials & more)Job Requirements:Current unrestricted RN license in state of TexasMinimum of 3 years of documented experience requiredRecent Infusion experience preferredCertified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayLicensed driver with valid automobile insuranceClean background and criminal recordNegative Pre-Employment Drug ScreenMust be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
