About the Role

The Company is seeking an Interim Director of Accounting to lead the optimization of its accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all accounting operations, with a focus on supporting strategic initiatives. This role involves overseeing daily accounting activities such as general ledger, close calendar, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, and ensuring adherence to tax laws, financial reporting standards, and industry regulations. The Interim Director of Accounting will also be expected to partner with cross-functional teams for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling, and to present financial performance and key insights in a clear and effective manner. Applicants for the Interim Director of Accounting position at the company should have a BS in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in accounting leadership roles. A background in publicly traded companies is essential, and proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms, particularly SAP, is preferred. The role requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, who can work effectively in a dynamic environment and is capable of leading a team to meet the company's financial objectives.
